Outline – IELTS Course in Dubai

Our IELTS preparation course is modular which means you can complete the modules in whichever order is most convenient. To keep lessons interesting, we follow an integrated skills approach, which means that each session is divided between the different skills. Each module contains expert IELTS  preparation tips, strategies, practice, and feedback. We have developed our own IELTS writing lessons, which include writing samples, techniques, model structures, and plenty of expert IELTS writing feedback.

Each module also has a vocabulary section which we practice together using the latest quiz games on our interactive whiteboards.

Students who miss lessons can arrange to retake the modules when seats are next available.

What if I miss my class?

Sometimes students miss their IELTS preparation course. Dubai is full of people with busy schedules and we allow students to repeat missed lessons whenever there is space.

When will I receive the exam results?

Candidates can collect their IELTS test results after 14 days in the paper-based exam and within 5 to 7 days for the computer delivered IELTS.

Do you provide certificates?

Yes, at Express English institute, we provide KHDA accredited certificates for each course.

How many hours is the IELTS exam?

The IELTS test lasts approximately three hours.

Is IELTS easier than TOEFL?

Trying to decide between IELTS and TOEFL? It really depends on the student, and it is best to call the centre and arrange a free consultation with an expert tutor to see which exam is best for you. Does the course include IELTS writing coaching?

How much does the IELTS test cost?

The IELTS test fee for paper based is approximately 1050 AED through IDP and 1120 AED with the British Council. The computer delivered IELTS test currently costs 1260 AED with both providers.

How long is IELTS valid for?

The IELTS test is valid for two years.

Can I book private IELTS lessons with a private tutor?

Our English language school provides private IELTS courses with British and American tutors. Although we recommend group IELTS courses, some students have specific study requirements and need a private IELTS writing tutor.
